FIT-SCIENCE is an interactive resource platform built specifically for Texas 4th and 5th grade science teachers. Our mission is to save educators time while strengthening STAAR-aligned instruction by generating ready-to-use, TEKS-aligned teaching materials in seconds.
Teachers can instantly generate multi-day lesson plans, Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) lessons, 5E inquiry lessons, weeks-at-a-glance overviews, and complete substitute teacher plans. The platform also produces STAAR-style assessments and interactive quizzes with auto-grading and student sharing links, plus Google Drive resource folders containing PDF practice questions, lesson plans, and vocabulary cards.
Beyond core planning, FIT-SCIENCE supports differentiated instruction with small group intervention cards for students who have not yet mastered a standard, English Learner (EL) support guides with cognates and ELPS-aligned sentence frames, Special Education guides with mnemonics and supplemental aids, IEP/504 accommodation checklists, and warm parent communication letters with home activities. A Mastery Dashboard lets teachers and administrators track class and TEKS performance, auto-group students by mastery level, and identify who needs extra support.
Every resource is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) adopted by the Texas Education Agency, covering all four science domains: Matter & Energy, Force & Motion, Earth & Space, and Organisms & Environment. Content is available in both English and Spanish.
